The Foil Me team is proud to partner with the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF) for the third year to help raise awareness and funds for a cause that affects so many in the hair industry as well as the rest of the world. With your help, we are hoping to double the amount we raised last year, aiming for $25,000!
We believe that in every success in life, there is always a way to give back to those in need. We have friends in the industry battling breast cancer and have unfortunately had very close family members that have passed away from cancer. We know how devastating it is to lose a loved one to this horrendous disease so raising funds and awareness for cancer research remains a cause very close to our hearts. This year we are again requiring your assistance to achieve NBCF’s goal of zero deaths from breast cancer by 2030.
This year Foil Me is helping NBCF by donating $1.00 from each of our specially designed NBCF edition The BCR and The Knobel foils.
We are also organising a campaign called ‘Wise Up in Pink’ where we have a day within Pink October that is dedicated to raising funds and awareness for NBCF. The salons and businesses involved will dress themselves, dye their hair and decorate their businesses in the colour of pink – this year, Pink Day will be held on Friday 18thof October, but this can be for the whole month, a week or just the day in October. Throughout October we will be collaborating with Chloe (owner of Scrunchie Scrunch) and her team (https://scrunchiescrunch.com.au/ and @scrunchiescrunch) to spread awareness further. Chloe is kindly donating pink scrunchies for registered participants.
There is a prize on offer of two cartons (24 packets) of our The Knobel collection PLUS a secret product that we have been working on for two years for the best salon/business spirit that we see via posts and Instastories on Instagram or Facebook. Runner up prizes will also be available.
